SHAUNA HARRIS
A writer by nature, Shauna has held positions as a reporter, editorial director, freelance writer, marketing/graphic designer, and photographer. She’s a 2011 graduate of Baylor University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism with a concentration in News Editorial and a minor in Film and Digital Media.
Out of college, Shauna took a position as an editorial intern with San Antonio Magazine, the monthly premier lifestyle publication for the Alamo City. Shortly thereafter, Shauna became employed by Keller Williams City View where her passion for design, marketing and photography was put to use by working alongside real estate agents to grow their individual businesses. At the same time, Shauna worked as a freelance writer for San Antonio Weddings magazine, an annual publication that provides helpful advice, useful tips, and expert service to plan the perfect wedding.
In early 2016, Shauna’s role with KW City View expanded and she was moved to the luxury Real Estate division, San Antonio Portfolio to work alongside Katie Nelson as a Marketing Coordinator. Shauna later had the opportunity to work with KORI as a Marketing Coordinator and Copywriter.
GET TO KNOW SHAUNA A LITTLE BETTER
What technology from science fiction do you wish existed?
I want the machine from The Jetsons tv show where you step inside and suddenly you're dressed, and your hair and makeup are done. That would definitely save me time in the morning so maybe I wouldn't be late to work HA!
What ridiculous thing has someone tricked you into believing?
My grandpa convinced me that he and his best friend fought in The Alamo. I believed that for a while...
What fictional place would you like to visit?
I would LOVE to visit Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry or the Island of Berk from How to Train Your Dragon because, seriously, who wouldn't want to ride Toothless?
What is the closest thing to magic?
Eye liner. I go from looking like death warmed over to an actual human being with a few swipes of that black pencil.
What would be your first question after waking up from being cryogenically frozen for 100 years?
Excuse me, where is the closest Whataburger? Talk about a craving after a century without those heavenly fries!
What movie do you know the most quotes from and what is your favorite quote?
My sister and I quote What Happens in Vegas. All. The. Time.
"Don't get hit by a bus, or do. Whatever."
